Briignite grow lights are one of the most affordable options for indoor plant growth. In this blog post I will cover the Briignite 12W LED Grow Light Bulb and Briignite 11W LED Grow Light Bulbs, how to install them, how to use them, and which plants you can grow with these lights.
Briignite grow lights offer very affordable options for indoor plant growth with easy installation and full-spectrum light. They are suitable for cultivating small (less than 1 foot tall) indoor tropical plants and small succulents and cacti, but not recommended for large plants (over 3 feet tall) due to their limited coverage area. In order for Briignite lights to provide a sufficient amount of light for your plants, they need to be kept very close to the plants (between 2″ and 6″).

How To Install
The Briignite 12W LED Grow Light Bulb is easy to install and there are 2 ways to do it. You can use this plant grow light with most floor lamps, desk lamps or a light fixture that accepts E26 light bulbs. Just screw in the bulb and point it toward your plants. The second option is to buy a cable, use a screw-in hook to hang the cable from the ceiling, and screw in the bulb into the cable socket.
If you are not comfortable with using a screw-in hook or drilling a hole, you can use sticky ceiling hooks instead.
How To Use
To use Briignite 12W LED grow light on tropical plants, place it 6 inches from the plants, and keep it on between 8 and 16 hours per day. For succulents and cacti, keep it between 2 and 5 inches from your plants, for 16 hours per day.
Coverage Area And Light Output
Briignite 12W grow light covers a small surface area of 1 by 1 feet. Light intensity drops exponentially with distance, so the light that reaches the edge of the coverage area loses a lot of its intensity. This means not a lot of light reaches the leaves at the edge of the coverage area, as you can see in the images below.
Which Plants Can I Grow With This Light
You can use Briignite 12W grow light for growing small (under 1 foot tall) indoor tropical plants and small succulents and cacti. You can also use it to grow medium-sized (between 1 and 3 feet tall) tropical plants, that are low light tolerant or require medium light.
Briignite 12W is not the best grow light to grow large (over 3 feet tall) tropical plants, medium-sized tropical plants that require bright light, and medium-sized and large succulents and cacti.
Briignite 11W LED Grow Light Bulbs (Full Spectrum Bulbs)
Briignite 11W LED grow light bulb is also a full-spectrum grow light that is easy to install. It provides less brightness than Briignite 12W, but is the most affordable grow light on the market. For the price of one Briignite 12W grow bulb, you can buy two 11W LED bulbs. It can also be used with most floor or desk lamps and provides natural light without glare. It’s good for growing small indoor tropical plants and small succulents and cacti. It’s not recommended for growing more than 1 plant or a few small succulents as it covers a very small area.

Research
Why you should trust Mr. Houseplant?
I have been growing indoor plants under grow lights for over 10 years. I also had a carnivorous plant business where I grew hundreds of plants under grow lights for several years. All of this helped me learn about different types of grow lights (LED grow lights, fluorescent lights, fluorescent bulbs, full-spectrum lighting…), how to measure the brightness of grow lights, how to determine the correct distance between the light and the plant, and other important information about growing house plants under grow lights.
How Mr. Houseplant Selected And Tested Products
I identified the key decision-making factors for growing indoor plants under grow lights and I tested the 2 Briignite grow lights to determine how they measure in each of the factors, and to determine their pros and cons and which plants they are suitable for. The key decision-making factors were: 1) brightness 2) design 3) price 4) glare 5) unique features that set it apart from the competition 6) warranty 7) ease of setup
Conclusion
Briignite grow lights are an affordable option for indoor plant growth with easy installation and full-spectrum light. They are suitable for cultivating small indoor tropical plants and small succulents and cacti but not recommended for large plants due to their limited coverage area. To provide sufficient light for your plants, Briignite lights need to be kept very close to the plants (between 2″ and 6″).
